Miracle ,I believe comes from Brother Andre and the Sisters of Saint Anne

by Kathryne B.
(Lorraine, Quebec, Canada)

It was a number of years ago that my mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor and that she would most probably be handicapped by not speaking or not able to move her arms. My mother was in one hospital which was known to be very good for neurologigal care. I was working however, in another major hospital as a surgical nurse. I thought my mother was in the best place at first, but until one night, I woke up with a very strong instinct to go to St.Josephs Oratory to Brother Andre's place and pray. I had never been and didn't really know where to go, but inexplicably I took the right path and had the taken the time to ask for a miracle to keep my mom alive without a handicap. For some reason, there was a reason to change my mom to the hospital I worked quickly, change surgeons and that is what I did. I was able to transfer my mom to a surgeon who had a full schedule and the next day she had the surgery.

I remember distinctly....my mom had said that she felt she was going to die with the other surgeon and she was ready to go to the other hospital. My father and brothers were all against it, but it was done anyway. When we walked the three of us, my mom, dad and myself through the hospital entrance doors, we looked at each other at the same time and felt the same feeling...all would be okay.

My mom had her surgery and as the other surgeon had said, it could mean her death or a handicap. Well the surgery took place and my mom talked and moved her arms right after surgery while being wheeled into the intensive care unit. The next day, my mom walked out of the intensive care on her two feet to her room, which nobody ever saw before. My mom is fine today after many years.

I believe sincerely in my heart that a miracle happened, even doctors and nurses couldn't get over it. I thank Brother Andre and the Sister of Saint Anne for my mom.

Today, it is my turn and my brothers. We each, at the same time, have serious illnesses and have both been given 2 to 3 months to live. During my hospitalization of 6 weeks, everything possible happened, heart, lung, kidneys went wrong. I really shouldn't be alive after all I went through...but I still am. I had the strongest calling that I must go to St. Joseph and go to Brother Andre once again. I came out of the hospital to enter palliative care at home on the 6th of January ( yes, Brother Andre's deaths' calling). I started to look up on the Internet about Brother Andre more closely. He died on the 6th.

I learned about the 9 days of prayer and time for the sick in March, which takes place the 10th to the 19th of March and it is the month of Joseph. I...was born on March 18th. Medically, I should not be alive then, because the 2 and a half months have passed. I feel I should be there those 9 days and I feel that I must call upon Brother Andre, once again. I really don't know how or why this happens, but I just know I am supposed to do it.

So, if I am there and I am better, I shall let you know of another miracle attributed by Brother Andre. Before then, I will be there on a Wednesday to prepare myself for this time, which apparently is for the sick. I know I will probably be told what I am to do.

Thank you for listening and reading this.
