Accounts of Healing Miracles

There are thousands of accounts of healing miracles in the archives of the Catholic Church.

The processes of Beatification and Canonization of our Catholic Saints requires proof of miracles. And many of these miracles are healing miracles.

We will focus on healing miracles in the lives of the Saints. We will list healing miracles either through their intercession or directly from God.

We will do a page on each instance of a healing miracle.

Please note that we will only touch the surface of the healing miracles on record.

So we have decided to let you take part. We are going to ask you to send in your favorite account of a healing miracle through the intercession of a Saint.

If we accept it, we will publish it as part of our healing miracles section. We may add to it and add photos etc.
To participate, simply fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Thanks in advance.

Now back to the Saints and the healing miracles.

We will begin with the healing of Saint Peregrine of Cancer by Jesus.

Healing of Cancer of Saint Peregrine

The Healing Fire of Christ

The Healing Fire of Christ

What are miracles? Why do miracles happen? Do miracles still happen? The subject of miraculous activity is one that has compelled believers for millennia. This book describes and recounts some of the most fascinating stories that have taken place not on the dusty pages of some centuries-old manuscript, but here and now in our own modern world. Fr. Paul Glynn, a Marist priest, takes the reader on a trip around the world to the sites of miraculous happenings, including healings, apparitions and conversions, including Lourdes, Knock, and Fatima. Through personal accounts and meticulous studies, he is able to show solid evidence and proof of God's work in our lives. These inspiring stories will enhance the reader's faith as well as provide a bastion of comfort for those in doubt. Illustrated with many photos. ???This is a book that can keep you awake into the *wee small hours'. I took the manuscript with me to a conference. I read each night till my eyes dropped out- [Fr. Paul Glynn] has reopened my mind and heart to the God who heals the broken, the wounded and the most wretched of the earth.??? "Bishop David Cremin , from the Foreword ???This book draws our attention to the intervention of God in the lives of those devoted to his mother. The blind see, the lame walk, the poor have the Gospel preached to them. Miracles are real but they are metaphors as well, calling our attention to the power of God and our destiny beyond time. The Healing Fire of Christ is a gread read. More importantly, it is edifying in a non-cloying way. A great book.??? "Ralph McInerny, University of Notre Dame, Author, Miracles: A Catholic View Fr. Paul Glynn , a Marist Missionary priest from Australia, is the author of several books including the best-sellers The Song of Nagasaki and The Smile of the Ragpicker. '
