Eucharistic Miracles - Lanciano

The oldest of the recorded Eucharistic Miracles in the History of the Catholic Church resides in Lanciano, Italy.

Everything about Lanciano smacks of the Eucharistic Miracle.

Even the name of the
town was changed from Anxanum (in ancient times), to
Lanciano, meaning “THE LANCE”.

Tradition has it that
the centurion, named Longinus, who thrust the Lance into
the side of Jesus, striking Him in the Tip of His Heart from
which He shed blood and water, (in the Gospel account of the
Crucifixion (Mk 15:29)) was from this town.

After seeing
the events which followed the piercing of Jesus’ heart, the
darkening of the sun, and the earthquake, he believed that Christ was the Savior.

The Miracle is still there for you to venerate.

Eucharistic Miracles - Cascia

Of the Eucharistic Miracles - Cascia is famous because of the Miracle within the Miracle.

God comes to the aid of a priest who has lost his love for the Eucharist.

Cascia is also the home of Saint Rita.

Eucharistic Miracles - Siena

Siena hosts one of the Eucharistic Miracles located in the Church of Saint Francis of Assisi.

The Lord proves without a doubt the Real Presence of Jesus in the
Eucharist in Hosts which we receive at every Mass.

See the incorrupt Hosts, in their original state after 276 years.
When John Paul II visited the Shrine of the Miracle of the Eucharist of Siena, 
 he said, "It is the Presence."
 

Eucharistic Miracles - Bolsena Orvieto

The cities of Bolsena and Orvieto worked together to do God's work.

God took people from four parts of Europe, brought them together to give us a Miracle of the Eucharist in Bolsena/Orvieto which brought about the Feast of Corpus Christi from which we have received the hymns by St. Thomas Aquinas
